Last year, while I was still at Reading, I was invited to participate in the Typodarium 2009 project. The calendars turned out to be a smash hit, and sold out in just a few weeks. Several of the pages through the 2009 edition feature typefaces of mine, including Martel Italic, part of the typeface that I designed on the MATD course at the University of Reading in 2008. Six Latin-script fonts from this project will be released under the name Malabar very soon. But while you are waiting, flip open your Typodarium (or your iPhone Typodarium App or Mac Typodarium Dashboard Widget) to today’s page to gaze lovingly at these curves.
